Ms. Jody K.P. CHU 朱幗珮
Biography
Ms. Chu completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Clinical Pharmacy degree at the University of South Australia, she has worked as a senior clinical pharmacist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Repatriation General Hospital in South Australia where she has gained extensive clinical experiences in various clinical areas.
Since joining the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy in 2013, Ms. Chu has taken up major teaching and administrative responsibility as a key member of the clinical teaching team. As the HKU BPharm Program Director, Ms. Chu coordinated the implementation and ongoing evaluation of the major curricular revamp of the HKU BPharm curriculum from the academic year of 2020/21.
Ms. Chu is a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP) and Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS), as well as a senior fellow of Advanced Higher Education (SFHEA).
Ms. Chu received a Teaching Development Grant (TDG) in 2022 for the implementation of a Professional Development Programme for BPharm students and another TDG in 2025 for the design and implementation of an interprofessional education program in primary healthcare setting. Jody’s current focus emphasized on professional identity development of students and interprofessional education in primary healthcare setting.
