Dr. Mohamad Dayoob
Biography
Dr. Mohamad Dayoob is a Lecturer in Pharmaceutics in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy, specialising in drug delivery systems and pharmaceutical technology.
Dr. Dayoob earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy in Syria in 2014, followed by a year of clinical practice as a community pharmacist. He subsequently completed a Master of Science in Drug Toxicology and Safety Pharmacology with Distinction at the University of Bradford’s Institute of Cancer Therapeutics in 2016. In 2022, he obtained his PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), during which he also served as a research assistant for three years.
Prior to his current appointment in December 2025, Dr. Dayoob held leadership roles as the Head of the Pharmaceutical Technology Department and Academic Programme Coordinator (2023–2025) in MAHSA university, Malaysia. His academic portfolio includes lecturing on Physical Pharmacy, Dosage Form Design, Industrial Pharmacy, and Regulatory Affairs.
In his current role, he teaches students within the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Advanced Pharmacy programmes.
