Bio:
With BPharm and PhD in Pharmacy (Pharmacognosy) obtained from King’s College London, University of London, UK, Prof. Clara Lau is an academic pharmacist with over 29 years of expertise in Pharmacology of herbal/natural medicine research. She focuses on providing scientific evidence to support the traditional use of herbal medicine. Her current main research areas include anti-cancer herbs/natural products, and the beneficial herb-drug combinations. Currently, she serves as member of ChP-USP Advisory Group on Monographs for TCM Ingredients and Products, President of Good Practice in Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Association (GP-TCM RA), Acting Secretary-General of The Consortium for Globalization of Chinese Medicine (CGCM), Council member and Associate Chief Executive of Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association (MCMIA).
