Clinical Practice Community Health Pharmaceutical Medicine
Goal Designed to develop strong clinical pharmacists who will pioneer front-line clinical care services and support safe and effective use of medicines on a systemic level Designed for developing professionals who are navigating and advancing careers in pharmaceutical companies
Specialization Geared for hospital practice Specialized for community practice and ambulatory care
Admission Requirement For candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or above in pharmacy (Students must be registered pharmacists in Hong Kong at the time of graduation for these 2 streams) For candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or above in pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, pharmacology, physiology, physical science, biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, biomedical/biological sciences, genetics, medicine, nursing or other relevant discipline

Generalist stream: Candidates who wish to individualize their exposure to courses outside the structure of the above streams may pursue the Generalist stream.

Generalists must complete the following for graduation:

  • MAPH7000 Evidence-Based Practice
  • At least 12 credits of Therapeutic courses
  • At least one Capstone course, but no more than one practicum course
