Biography

Tommy Lee obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Hong Kong and further completed his Master of Clinical Pharmacy at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Being a registered pharmacist in Hong Kong, he has substantially committed to the development of primary care pharmacy model in Hong Kong and fostered the positive changes of socio-medical collaboration.

With his massive experience as a pharmacy service manager at Health In Action Community Pharmacy (non-governmental organization and the first exclusive teaching pharmacy for HKU) prior to joining the University, he has integrated the development of primary care pharmacy practice into a transdisciplinary and trans-sector approach. He is also devoted to the development of primary care pharmacy service frameworks such as minor ailment service, medication management service and immunization service. Completed the local Immunization Training Programme for Pharmacists organized by HKU and finished the Supervised Immunization Practice, he is currently a qualified vaccinator in Hong Kong and has organized and delivered flu vaccination programme in the community pharmacy over the past few years.

Dedicating to the incubation of the next generation of primary care pharmacy leaders, he has continuously facilitated the development of the co-creation platform and co-learning environment among the pharmacy undergraduate and stakeholders from various disciplines such as social welfare organizations.

Presently, Tommy is committed to a primary care community pharmacy project, which aims to support sustainable development of community pharmacy services that underpin the primary healthcare development in Hong Kong.
