Mr Stephen So currently holds a dual role as Honorary Lecturer of the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy at the University of Hong Kong and as Health & Research Manager at a retail chain of community pharmacy.

Mr So received his Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Clinical Pharmacy degree at the University of Sydney. He has extensive practice experience in both community pharmacy and private hospital settings in Hong Kong and Australia. After returned to Hong Kong in 2005, Mr So practised as a pharmacist-in-charge in the chain community pharmacy. He began his management career in 2009 where he was accountable in commercial management of a group of chain pharmacies, coaching the pharmacists team and development of the company pharmacy business.

Mr So is dedicated in developing and expanding the service scope of community pharmacists. In recent years, he led various new pharmacist services including pharmacist flu vaccination, hospital medication collection at community pharmacies, wellness service by community pharmacists etc. Mr So is also passionate in pharmacy education. He is responsible in teaching and research collaboration with university and strives to build effective partnerships with various stakeholders to drive innovative health initiatives.
