Ms. Porsha Lam obtained her Bachelor of Pharmacy at The University of Hong Kong and further completed her Master of Clinical Pharmacy at The University of Sunderland. She has also received a Professional Diploma in General Counselling from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and is a competent vaccinator certified by HKU.

Porsha has joined the University since her registration and prior to taking up the post of Pharmacist, she has been dedicating to the pioneering research and implementation of community-based medication management service in Hong Kong, where she developed expertise in primary care and community pharmacy practice. Porsha is committed to the development of primary care pharmacy service and the education of professional and patient-centered communication. Apart from pioneering the implementation of local medication management service, she has contributed significantly to the development and coordination of Primary Care Pharmacy Consortium at HKU to bridge and promote multidisciplinary exchange and collaboration on healthcare services. To promote continuing development for pharmacists, Porsha has also taken up the coordination of an online training programme for healthcare professionals in advanced therapy and has been playing an active role in organising immunisation training for pharmacists.
