All our pharmacy students will be provided with the opportunity to undertake a research project in their final year of study. The FYP enables our students to develop scientific and data analysis skills, creativity and critical thinking. Students will also learn about the value of research ethics. Each student can select a project according to his/her area of interest in one of the following topics: pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacy practice and clinical pharmacy, and will be supervised by an academic staff of the department. By the end of the project, the students will have to submit a literature review and a final report. In addition, there will be a poster presentation session, allowing the students to present their own work, and to learn from their peers.
